Spores- a resistant reproductive cell of some organisms, such as certain plants, protists, and fungi
Mycelium- a mat of interwoven hyphae
Sporophores-sprores from aerial filaments
Gram Stain- a series of dyes that stain bacteria either puple or pink according to the chemistry of the bacterial cell wall

Hyphae- long slender tubes that develope from germinated spores and form the structural parts of the body of a fungus
Aerobic- an organism or tissue requiring the persence of air or oxygen so it can live
Anaerobic- an organism or tissue that is able to live in the presence of oxygen
Respiration-a process in an organism where oxygen is given to tissues and water and carbon dioxide are taken out
Enzymes- proteins produced by living organisms as catalysts
Agar-a culture medium with a base
Filamentous-composed of or obtaining filaments
Filaments-A chainlike series of cells
